DESCRIPTION: This camp is 60 min of On-Ice per day with a focus on competition and getting ready for the upcoming season. The first 30 min of each day will include high-paced drills or groups to get the players bodies and minds warmed up. There will be various skill stations working on the 5 fundamentals of Skating, Shooting, Passing, Stick Handling, and Checking throughout the week. The 2nd half of each day (30 min) will be 1/2 Ice, In Zone 3v3 where the players will learn offensive and defensive zone strategy, how to look for open players, how to defend their defensive zone, etc.
On Monday the players are learning the 3v3 concept but by Friday they have an excellent grasp of the game and the competition heats up. We will play Green vs. Gold each day finishing with the overall winning team hoisting the Jaxon Joseph Cup on Friday.
